What Is Gling?

Gling is an AI video editor built specifically for content creators who produce talking-head style videos for YouTube and other platforms. Its single focused purpose is to automatically clean up raw footage by removing silences, filler words like "um" and "uh", bad takes, and dead air — outputting a polished, tightly edited version without the creator needing to scrub through the timeline manually.

How the AI Editing Works

You upload your raw video recording to Gling. The AI analyses the audio track, transcribes it, and identifies all the sections to cut: silences longer than a configurable threshold, identified filler words, repeated sentences indicating bad takes, and any section you manually flag. It then either exports a cleaned video file directly or produces an edit decision list that you can import into your existing editor (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and continue editing from there.
